VETERAN SAVES NAMES ELEVEN ORGANIZATIONS SAVINGS CHAMPIONS FOR EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE DURING VETERAN SAVES WEEK 2025

The Veteran Saves Week Savings Champion Award recognizes organizations that demonstrated exceptional outreach, engagement, and commitment to promoting saving during Veteran Saves Week.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) February 3, 2026 — Veteran Saves, a program of America Saves, has named eleven organizations as recipients of the 2025 Veteran Saves Week Savings Champion Award. This annual, industry-respected award recognizes organizations that effectively and actively promoted saving strategies during Veteran Saves Week 2025.

“Veteran Saves Week encourages a financial check-in, but it also relies on trusted organizations to help veterans and military families access savings information and tools,” said Krystel Spell, Program Manager of Veteran Saves. “Savings Champion organizations focused on reaching Veterans and military families with savings messages and tools at a time when many households were navigating uncertainty.”

Savings Champion recipients were among hundreds of organizations that participated in Veteran Saves Week 2025, which took place November 4–7, 2025. The annual campaign encourages individuals to pause for a financial check-in, set a savings goal, and take steps toward building financial stability.

The actions and outreach demonstrated by the 2025 Savings Champions contributed to the overall impact of Veteran Saves Week, which reached more than 1.5 million individuals and encouraged nearly $2 million in deposits into new and existing savings and wealth-building accounts.

In addition to the Savings Champions, Veteran Saves Week 2025 included participation from financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and community-based organizations nationwide.
